Security Policy

In order to provide a service aligned with our corporate values in the operation of our Business and Technology Park, security is a fundamental pillar.

Within this framework, Zonamerica commits to complying with current national and international regulations and expresses its determination to oppose any illicit acts or activities such as smuggling, drug trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, human trafficking, child labor, forced labor, and/or prison labor.

Strategic guidelines of the Security Policy

• Work with our business partners to prevent illicit activities within the international supply chain, such as smuggling, drug trafficking, terrorism, and money laundering.

• Work with our business partners to prevent illicit activities related to Human Rights, such as human trafficking, child labor, forced labor, and/or prison labor.

• Ensure compliance with our Integrated Management System Policy and our Human Rights Policy.

• Ensure the physical integrity of the facilities, preventing vandalism, crimes against property, and unauthorized access.

• Take all possible measures to protect people’s physical integrity against natural risks or human-related threats of any kind.

• Promote Human Resources processes and practices with a focus on key security-related matters.

• Ensure the confidentiality of data managed by Zonamerica and the availability of information systems.

• Ensure the ability to respond to emergency situations by restoring the operation of critical services and/or stabilizing conflict situations in the shortest possible time.

• Promote awareness and training on security matters within the international logistics chain and in relation to Human Rights.

• Commit to preventing the entry and spread of potential pests.

• Promote the protection of intellectual property and commit to combating any form of trademark counterfeiting and piracy.
