Regime ’s free trade zones in Uruguay allow companies to operate in an environment specifically designed for international trade and services, with tax, operational, and regulatory benefits that are unique in the region.

Companies operating in a free trade zone in Uruguay are exempt from national taxes on the activities they carry out within the zone, including IRAE, the Wealth Tax, and VAT. Goods enter and leave the zone duty-free, and these benefits are contractually guaranteed for up to 10 years for trade and services, and up to 15 years for manufacturing. Social security contributions remain in effect.
