Last Saturday, February 28, the first edition of the Wellness Festival took place at Zonamerica, an
all-day event dedicated to movement, health, and wellness. The event was organized by Life
Zonamerica and brought together hundreds of people, including members, employees of companies on the campus, and
individuals interested in an active lifestyle.

The event offered a full afternoon of activities that combined physical exercise,
specialized content, and networking opportunities, all set in the unbeatable surroundings of the
Zonamerica campus. The perfect weather that afternoon made it possible to fully enjoy the
various outdoor activities.

During the festival, a variety of sports and recreational activities were offered, designed for all
skill levels. One of the highlights was the team race, where participants
tackled stations featuring both intense physical challenges and more lighthearted ones, fosteringteamwork
and a sense of community.

A Backyard race was also held, an endurance format that is growing in popularity
internationally, in which runners must complete 6.7-kilometer laps within one hour.
On this occasion, seven laps were run, and the winner was the runner who completed the last lap in the
fastest time.

The festival also featured activities designed specifically for adults, including an outdoor obstacle course through the park that combined movement with various physical challenges. The program also
included an event at the Life Zonamerica pool, featuring water-based activities and the
opportunity to enjoy the surroundings.

In the broader context of well-being, the festival featured a yoga experience in touch with
nature, held in one of the campus’s most prominent locations. The day concluded with a
moment dedicated to slowing down and reconnecting with calm through gong baths.
In addition to physical activities, the festival included a series of talks focused on wellness and health,
featuring specialists who addressed various aspects of holistic care:

Dr. Daniela Fernández, who shared tips for a longer and healthier life.
Dr. Betina Tassino, with the talk “Timing Matters: The Biological Clock and Well-being,” on how
light, sleep, and daily schedules affect our health.
• The CEI team of nutritionists, who presented the talk “Eating for a Lifetime,” on the
importance of nutrition at different stages of life.
Psychologist Camila Suárez, who led a discussion on “The Map of Well-being” and how to move
from the perfect to the possible.

The day concluded with a closing after-party, where participants enjoyed a relaxed moment
to celebrate the festival, thank everyone for their participation, and present awards to the
winners of the team race and the Backyard.
The Wellness Festival has thus established itself as an initiative that seeks to promote healthy habits, build
a community, and provide tools for better living by integrating physical activity, knowledge, and
shared experiences.

“We believe that well-being is built within a community. This festival aims to do just that: create
spaces where movement, knowledge, and connection come together to help us live better lives,” said representatives from Life Zonamerica, who also highlighted Zonamerica’s support in making this first edition possible.
