Zonamerica received the “Marca País Uruguay” certification, a distinction granted by Uruguay XXI to organizations that stand out for their management, their commitment to sustainability, their Uruguayan origins, and their export capacity. From now on, Zonamerica may include the “Marca País” logo in its communications and reinforce its connection to Uruguay with clients, investors, and partners around the world.

The presentation took place in the park and was attended by Mariana Ferreira, executive director of Uruguay XXI; Santiago Vázquez, CEO of LSQA; and Martín Dovat, CEO of Zonamerica.

A community that puts Uruguay on the world map

During the event, Ferreira highlighted the scale and diversity of the Zonamerica community: “Here at Zonamerica, there are more than 7,000 people working, more than 500 companies, and more than 15 sectors that showcase Uruguay’s heritage.” He also highlighted the role played by every person at the park: “Through all the companies operating in Zonamerica and all our employees, we can promote the Uruguay brand.”

For his part, Martín Dovat highlighted the joint effort with Uruguay XXI to promote the country abroad: “That’s how we travel the world with Uruguay XXI, promoting Uruguay as a business hub.”

A Shared Recognition

This licensing confirms something that is evident every day at Zonamerica: an ecosystem that attracts investment, creates quality jobs, and exports goods and services from Uruguay to markets around the world. It is an achievement of the companies and the people who are part of this community and who, through their work, showcase the best of Uruguay.
