Tech company Infogain chose Zonamerica for its expansion into the region

The Indian technology company Infogain has expanded into Uruguay and chosen Zonamerica as its hub for expanding its operations and centralizing software development for the continent.

The launch event for their offices was attended by national and departmental officials; the president of Zonamerica, Orlando Dovat; the vice president of Infogain LATAM, Gabriel Rozman; and other key players in Uruguay’s technology and business ecosystem.

Martín Dovat, CEO of Zonamerica, welcomed the company and expressed his delight that they had chosen the free trade zone as their regional hub. “Uruguay has established a strong international reputation for the quality of its technology services. At Zonamerica, we have several examples of large companies that have grown their businesses thanks to local talent, and we are proud that Infogain has decided to make our facility its regional hub. We offer tailored solutions for the company and are committed to creating a motivating environment for the community,” he said.

Infogain is an Indian-owned software development company headquartered in Silicon Valley, California, with two technology development centers—one in India and one in Poland—and a total workforce of over 5,000 employees. It serves clients in the travel, retail, insurance, and hospitality sectors.

The initial plan for 2022 is to expand its software development office in Uruguay to about 100 employees.
