Technology company Infogain chose Zonamerica to land in the region. Infogain, the technology company of Indian origins landed in Uruguay and chose Zonamerica as its platform to expand and centralize software development for the Americas. National and local authorities participated in the launch event of its offices, including Orlando Dovat, President at Zonamerica, the Vice President of Infogain LATAM, Gabriel Rozman, and other actors of the technology and business ecosystem of Uruguay. Martín Dovat, CEO at Zonamerica, welcomed the company and emphasized the satisfaction that it had chosen the free zone for their regional project. “Uruguay has positioned itself very well in international terms regarding the quality of technology services. At Zonamerica, we have several examples of great companies that have grown their business thanks to local talent, and we are proud that Infogain chose our home to establish their regional base. We have customized solutions for the company, as well as the commitment to create a motivating environment for the community,” he added. Infogain is an Indian-owned software development company based in Silicon Valley (California), with two technology development centers, one in India and one in Poland, employing over 5,000 people. It works with clients in the travel, retail, insurance, and hospitality sectors. The initial plan for 2022 is to consolidate their software development office in Uruguay with around 100 employees.
